You got confused with clan and country. There are Fire empire, Stone Empire etc. Stone Clan just happens to be in Stone Empire Shi Hao becomes the emperor of Stone Empire. The Stone clan is not in charge of Stone Empire, they are both separate. this is one of those things the author doesnt explain fully. For example I for one would like to know what happened to the Stone Elder at the beginning who said what is done is done and forces Shi Hao's parents to accept "compensation" for what was done to Shi Hao, he never appears again, I thought it was the Stone emperor but it wasnt


Anyway if you remember, Stone Clan split into two, one that was loyal to Shi Hao's grandfather, the other belonging to Shi Yi's faction, the novel explains and had a little bit more background story than the donghua, so not everyone in the clan are bad lol, and yes Shi Hao humiliates the "bad" faction of the Stone Clan, I cant remember if he wiped them out, but I do know those who plotted against him while he was Stone Emperor all died

The author never explained if it was controlled, but I doubt it, since Shi Hao went to the palace and the Stone Emperor was very cordial to Shi Hao and didnt show any hostility to Shi Hao, given what he's done to the Stone Clan. the government officials didnt come from the Stone Clan, and the sons of the emperor didnt seem to have any alliances with the Stone Clan, until some of them sought the emperor's position and began to curry favors from all the clans and sects within the empire and of course enemies of Shi Hao. They never learn from their mistakes lol

I think it was the Stone Clan's mansion, just like when Shi Hao went to Rain Clan's mansion and wrecked their mansion in Stone Empire and in Void God Realm, but I dont recall, been a while since I read the novel, sometimes I confuse myself with so many novels I read over the years, since a lot of them follow the same plotlines.
